Defending the Faith is a Bible course about Christian Apologetics (proofs and arguments for the truth of Christianity) and alternative worldviews (which includes not only other religions, but other popular modern belief systems as well). Emphasis will first be placed on recognizing God's zeal for His own Name, that it may be known and honored throughout the nations of the world, and also on His heart for bringing to Him a people of His own possession from every tribe and nation. We will develop our ability to defend our faith when confronted by other people. This will be done by studying tactics and strategies for conversing with people of other belief systems and also by learning proofs and arguments for the Triune God and the truth of Christianity. We will also grow our knowledge of alternative religions and worldviews that compete against Christ for the hearts and minds of human beings, and then analyzing how those beliefs stack up against the true faith of Christianity.
